Need ideas for your New Year's Eve party? Add these 5 unexpected touches... We’re just over a few days away from December 31st, which means our New Year’s Eve party planning is emergency! As a host of New Year's Eve Party I am giving you some small advices for a good and glamorous party.
Take the pressure off yourself by having your food, drinks, and accessories for your NYE table. Send invitations before the madness and start planning your NYE menu.
Blast the Tunes
Prepare a few playlists on Sound Cloud, Spotify, iTunes. I start the night with festive background music, then try to build the pace and energy towards midnight.
"Hire" a Photographer
Ask one guest to serve as the “official” photographer to take before and after photos, or do it yourself. As guests arrive, invite them to pose with one person seated and the other standing next to a chair (like an old-time photo – no smiling allowed). You could provide old-fashioned hats, and maybe a shawl or scarf for props.
Set the Mood
Everyone looks their best in a soft glow! Dim the lights, and burn lots of candles,I
love having one nice scented candle that smells like winter or the holidays.
Remember That Timing Is Everything
Since you want to keep the party hopping until the midnight hour, consider starting around 10pm. But if you prefer to start much earlier, have the potato bar ready at around 10pm so guests don’t go hungry.
Surround yourself with people who inspire you and truly believe in YOU. Happy New Year from Mario!
